Vegan tacos have never been better than when you use Taco Spiced Lentils as your “taco meat”! The texture and flavor of these takes your vegan taco to a new level. We know there are probably tons of lentil taco recipes swarming around the net, but we didn’t have time to check those out and had to just wing it, so this is just our version.
- Cook lentils according to package directions (ours said cover with water by several inches and bring to boil then simmer for 30 mins)
- Drain them
- Toss in Taco Bell Taco Seasoning and stir
- We added 1/2 cup water and simmered that for just a minute being sure not to burn the lentils to the bottom of the pan.
