I am so impressed with myself on this that I can’t even stand it. I am of course trying to lose weight, I am on a whole foods plant based diet and very low fat. The diet is limiting and so occasionally cravings come and I just cannot get past them. Today I was craving my mom’s Peanut Butter Chocolate No Bake Cookies…..bad. So I had to improvise and stay within the McDougall Plan, while still meeting my craving. I hit the absolute jackpot, find the recipe below. You are welcome! Much love, Femme
- 1 cup Old Fashioned Quaker Oats Oatmeal
- 1.5 cups water
- 2 tablespoons PB2 Chocolate
- 3 tablespoons 100% maple syrup
Step 1- 1 cup Oatmeal and 1.5 cups water into a microwave safe container. Pop it into Microwave for 3 minutes
Step 2- Remove from Microwave and stir in 3 tablespoons maple syrup
Step 3- Divide into 2 bowls equally and stir 1 tablespoon PB2 Chocolate in each bowl
Step 4- Savor, do not devour all in one gulp yall.
While this, like all “sweets” shouldn’t be an everyday consumption, occasionally a girl just needs what a girl needs in the healthiest package she can get it in, this is it for chocolate peanut butter no bakes!
