I have a sweet tooth that has no end so giving up fats and oils has been extra difficult since almost all great desserts have butter or oil in them. So what did I do? I came to the plate and I knocked it out of the ballpark with this AMAZING Apple Crisp.
Outta The Ball Park Apple Crisp (Vegan, No Oil/No Fat)
- 1 small ramekin
- 1 honeycrisp apple peeled and diced
- 2 shakes of apple pie spice
- 2 tablespoons Pure Maple Syrup (don’t pour this til last, you’re gonna use 1 at a time)
- 3 tablespoon full old fashion oats
- 2 pinches salt
Peel and dice your apple, place in ramekin with 1 tablespoon maple syrup, pinch of salt and 2 shakes apple pie spice. Stir this to coat apples.
In a separate small bowl add old fashioned oats, pinch of salt, and tablespoon of maple syrup and stir.
Top the ramekin with the coated oats and bake for 30 mins at 350
