Day 44 {A McDougalling We Go} + Vegan Breakfast Recipes

Still going strong! Homme and I are killing it on our eating this week and are at our lowest weights yet! We are sailing right through each day now without thinking very much about meat or what we will eat! This vegan thing has finally clicked in to autopilot mode and we’re pretty happy that all those early cravings have left us (and honestly the thought of meat now makes me cringe).  We crushed it with Greek Potato Pitas tonight and ate like kings! Tomorrow for breakfast, I’m doing a new thing!  I’m making banana nut bread oatmeal! I came across a recipe for it somewhere recently (I can’t find that one now) and so I decided to make up my own!  Here is the “recipe” I am making up! Since We are talking about nuts and bananas…..let’s make a PB AND BANANA sandwich Oatmeal recipe up too!


Banana Nut Bread Oatmeal

  • 1c Oatmeal (cooked with water)
  • 2 tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 banana sliced
  • 1 tbsp pecans

Stir it all together and munch on!

Peanut Butter Banana Oatmeal

  • 1c Oatmeal (Cooked with water)
  • 2 tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 2 tbsp PB2 or PB2 Chocolate
  • 1/2 banana sliced

Stir it all together and munch on!
