Growing up in the south one of the most memorable desserts served in the late spring and summer is Mamaw’s famous peach cobbler. Since going vegan and oil/fat free that isn’t something we still indulge in for health reasons, but we can still enjoy the flavor with none of the guilt using our own vegan oil free/ fat free version.
Vegan Peach Crumble
- 1 can sliced peaches in JUICE not heavy syrup. DRAINED
- Shake of cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 2 tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
- 1 cup Old Fashioned Oats
- Shake of Cinnamon
- 2 tbsp Maple Syrup
Drain peaches and place in small pyrex rectangular mini casserole dish, add vanilla, maple syrup, and cinnamon. Stir to combine
Stir the old fashioned oats, 1tbsp maple syrup and dash of cinnamon together to reach crumble consistency and crumble atop the peaches.
Bake 350 for 25-30 mins or until the oat crust has gone golden brown
