Cinnamon rolls at breakfast were one of my favorite treats! I say were because I’ve made the choice now to cut the “crap” from my diet and eat intentionally. What does eating intentionally look like for me? It looks like I care about each ingredient and I don’t want to eat anything I can’t pronounce. With this in mind I began to experiment with how to achieve the cinnamon roll warmth without all the refined, bleached, oil ridden, fat filled ingredients that I don’t want to fill my body with. I landed on this recipe and I’ve been more than content ever since. Here’s to you as you journey along side us towards health! This is one recipe you’ll want to give a try. We use it on toast, on banana slices, on apple slices, etc.
Cinnamon Roll Spread
- 2tbsp PB2/PBFit (I like the chocolate version best myself but either works)
- 1tsp Pure Maple Syrup
- 2-3 shakes of cinnamon (to taste)
- 1tbsp water (maybe a splash more after you mix, til you achieve correct consistency)
Stir to make a creamy paste. Spread on Whole Grain toast and enjoy!
